Streetwear: The Blurred Line Between Streetwear and Hip Hop Fashion

Fashion changes all the time and for all its changes, new fashion is born.  Let’s take for example streetwear.  Contrary to popular belief this actually doesn’t refer to hip hop fashion.  As a matter of fact, it originates from what skateboarders wore.  As was mentioned, fashion changes all the time.  Through the passage of time and from its early beginnings as clothing worn by skateboarders alone, the fad started to catch on in the public.

If you take a look at people who make use of streetwear, it will be mostly composed of teenagers and people in their early 20s.  It’s become a popular kind of clothing because it’s comfortable and it allows for a myriad of mixes and matches where you can easily get to define your personality.  It’s going to be difficult to run into someone in the street wearing the exact same articles of clothing.  You can put some variety into this form of fashion with sneakers alone.  Just like the clothes, they’re comfortable and very durable.  You can put on a pair that’s made up with a simple design or you can go with a pair with a big splash of color.

Since the line between street wear and hip hop fashion tends to get blurred today, you can easily find great pieces to mix and match with at stores for big and tall.  You don’t really have to be tall and big yourself to buy from stores like these, it’s for the roominess of the clothes that they’re comfortable.
